How often should you replace your water filter?

- On average, most filters last 6 months or 300 gallons depending on your water quality and usage.

How do I turn off my filter light to reset?

- If the filter light will not reset after following specific instructions from your owner manual, contact your refrigerator manufacturer.

Do the gaskets (o-rings) on the filters need to be lubricated?

- Most water filters come with pre-lubricated O-rings

- If you are having trouble installing the filter, we have found that a small amount of vegetable oil applied to the O-ring will ease installation and removal of the filter.

I just installed my filter; do I need to run water through it before I drink the water? If so, how much?

- You should run 3 gallons of water through your filter in order to flush it and make sure that it is thoroughly wet. Do not run the 3 gallons continuously, instead run the water for a few minutes and stop in between. Get a gallon water container, and pour and refill 3 times!

The shipping address is required in order to ship your order; the e-mail address is used to send your receipt and tracking information; the billing address is needed to verify the identity of the cardholder; and the phone number is necessary so that we can call you if there's a problem with your order.
For all online orders via our shopping cart we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Online orders can also be paid via PayPal. We are not responsible for the information that is held via Paypal and we make no claims to the accuracy of the addresses. Any address concerns must be handled through PayPal. We offer free ground shipping on all orders within the continental United States. We do not offer free ground shipping to Hawaii and Alaska since this method is not provided by our carriers. Please note that delivery time is subject to the ability of our couriers (UPS, FedEx, and USPS) to fulfill their delivery schedule.
Note: You DO NOT have to submit your credit card information or make any commitment before seeing and agreeing to your shipping charges.

Note: Any changes made to the delivery addresses after shipment will result in a $13 Correction Fee. If the correction will result in the package going to a different State then customer will be responsible for the Correction Fee plus the cost of Shipping.
FoxyFilter strives to process and ship all orders the same day, however sometimes orders can take up to 1-3 business days. In case the product you selected is on backorder, you will receive a notification within 24-48 hours. You will then be given the choice to let your product(s) remain on backorder, substitute the backordered item for another item or cancel the order with a full refund. All orders go through an address verification system in order to protect our customers and the company against fraud. We reserve the right to cancel any orders that are suspected of being under fraudulent activity.
Brand New items may be returned or exchanged within 30 Days from date of purchase and must include all original packaging of the product. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the actual cost of shipping. This amount will be deducted from the amount of your refund.

All returns or exchanges missing the original packaging or with damage to the original box may be refused or may be subject to a 10% penalty fee. All returns must use a traceable shipping method and must be shipped in a separate shipping box. DO NOT put any courier labels on the manufacturer's merchandise packaging. Doing so requires FoxyFilter to pay for replacement packaging. Therefore, additional fees will be charged under these circumstances.

FoxyFilter is not liable in any way for returned packages that were lost or damaged during shipment.

NOTE: Due to the fact that FoxyFilter ships from different warehouses around the country to expedite your shipping time, the address on your packing slip may NOT be the correct address for handling returns and exchanges. FoxyFilter is not liable for packages sent to any address other than our Syosset, NY address listed below.

Please include a copy of your emailed receipt along with a description of all problems you had with the packaged components. You should choose a courier that provides tracking and insurance for your package. We do not reimburse shipping and handling costs incurred by FoxyFilter while processing your order, or any shipping costs the customer incurs while returning or exchanging your purchase.
